The 422 Express avenged a first-game loss to the Gladiators 10A team to earn a spot in the championship round, then beat the Gladiators 10AA team twice to win the 2010 NAYRHL 10U-A Mission Cup Championship.

The wins of 4-3 and 5-1 capped a great tournament played by the 422 Express who trailed 3-2 late in the first championship game to force the second, "Winner Take All" game.  Kelsey Showers and Wyatt Sizemore scored 57 seconds apart late in the third period to take the win to force the second game.

Sizemore then scored a hat trick in the final game, which the Gladiators led 1-0 just 62 seconds into the game.  Sizemore led all players in goals and points in the 10U-A playoffs with 22 and 27 respectively.

Jake Pohlig (Gladiators 10A) and Jared Gerger (Inferno 10AA) were the only other two players with double-digits in goals with 16 and 13 respectively.

Showers led the way in assists with six, while Sizemore had five.  Nick Markovich (422 Express) and James DiDomenico (Gladiators 10AA) both had three assists. Barely seven year old Sammy Lipken had a hat trick in Game 1 and was cleary a force for the Gladiators.
